The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 12 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) he has a plan.
Also coming up, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) will agree to spy on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) he’s a jerk.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will run into Phyllis at the park. He’ll comment that she and Cane were thick as thieves when he saw them at Society the night before. Then he’ll ask if she’s going to help Cane go after his family’s companies. However, Phyllis will say she’s not interested in going after Newman or any other company.
“You asked me to keep you in the loop, and how can I do that if I’m not spending time with Cane?” She’ll add she tried to convince him not to use the AI software. “Did you manage to succeed?” Nick will ask. But Phyllis will tell him Cane’s not really interested in artificial intelligence right now. He’s more interested in repairing his relationship with his (offscreen) children.

“You are choosing to side with someone who is coming after me and my family,” he’ll add. “You’re making the wrong choice.” And he’ll tell her to put distance between her and Cane. Phyllis will tell Nick he’s a jerk. “I’m so tired of you passing judgement on me. I’m going to work with who I damn well please.”
Phyllis will say she’s insulted that he’s more upset about protecting his family and protecting Victor and storm off. Then Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will arrive. Nick will tell him he was just arguing with Phyllis and is convinced she’s playing for the other team. Adam will ask his brother if he’d be okay going after Phyllis if she’s coming for their family.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor will tell Michael he needs to make a decision about whether he’s going to spy on him for Cane. While he’s there, Cane will call him and Victor will advise him to call him back and say yes. Michael will remind Victor he always used to advise him to give up his grievances with the other families in town.
But Victor will say he will not give up his fight against Cane. “No, Cane is clearly the aggressor, so I will work with you to get rid of the threat he poses,” Michael will reply. Then he’ll show up in Cane’s choo choo train and tell him they have an agreement.
Michael will want to discuss his salary and Cane’s initial offer. “If I double your offer, would that be satisfactory?” Cane will ask. “It would,” Michael will reply. So, Cane will ask Michael to make up with Phyllis, he wants his team to be a united front.
Then Michael will return to Newman to report to Victor. He’ll tell him Phyllis is involved. “Then maybe we can kill two birds with one stone,” Victor will reply. So, Michael will call Phyllis and ask if they can meet up to discuss something important.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Plans To Threaten Victor With AI
Meanwhile, Sally will show up at Billy’s place and find him passed out on his couch. She’ll wake him up and he’ll tell her he was dreaming. “You always are,” Sally will reply. Billy will sit up and ask Sally if she’s still angry with him. “More worried, I just needed some time to think,” she’ll say. “I’m not going to let you go forward with this Billy.”
However, he’ll say it’s not the time to play it safe. Sally will remind Billy she’s stood by him, even when it made her uncomfortable. “We could both get what we want, I could run Chancellor and you could run Abbott,” he’ll say. But Sally will say they have each other and their company, isn’t that enough?
A stubborn Billy will say he wishes she could be flexible. “Chancellor Industries depends on me working with Cane.” Then he’ll tell her he and Jack fought and he’s pulling funding. “The company is dead and that’s exactly why I have to work with Cane.”
They both want the same thing and that is to take down Victor. “I gave up a lot to do this with you,” she’ll remind him. “I shifted my full focus into launching a company that bears your name.”
Sally will say people told her it was a mistake but she told them it would be different. “You’re putting your obsessions ahead of us, I have real concerns about what you’re doing and you’re not listening to me.”
Finally, Billy will say he has this under control. He’s not going to use Cane’s AI. Instead, he’ll use the threat of cyber warfare to force Victor to hand over Chancellor to him. Sure, Billy.
